Chris Taylor is making his World Championship debut in 2017 with the MTM Kawasaki team in the brand new Supersport 300cc World Championship. The series runs as a support series for the prestigious FIM Superbike World Championship, providing Chris with a perfect platform showcase his talent and further his career.
Starting on two wheels in 2010 Chris progressed quickly through the Minimoto ranks in the UK, finishing 2nd overall in his first competitive season. in the BSB Motostar series.
In 2011 he progressed to the British FAB-Racing Moto4 Championship, winning the title.
Two years later he finished 7th on his debut in the British MotoStar Championship before finishing 3rd overall in the British KTM RC390 Cup.
He made his National Superstock 600 race debut in 2016 before making the jump to the World Championship for 2017.
With front running performances in both qualifying and races in the first half of the year, Chris is focused on finishing the season strong and hopes to remain in the WorldSBK paddock in 2018 should sufficient funding and support be found.
