Donington Park 26 – 28 MEI 2017

Na 4 ronden behoudt Scott Deroue de leiderspositie in het World SSP300 kampioenschap met 2 punten verschil.  We kijken uit naar de Misano race!
Scott Deroue: “P4, not the result I was looking for but didnt had the speed this weekend. Still leading the World Championship but we need a better result in Misano.”
Na de crashes en de technische uitval van Chris in de eerste helft van de race, vormde zich een kopgroep van 3 rijders die van het pak wegreden.  Scott vocht in een tweede groepje van 3 om weer aansluiting te vinden bij de kopgroep. Ondanks dat deze groep achtervolgers uitgebreid werd van drie naar acht rijders in de laatste ronden, kwam Deroue als eerste van de groep als vierde over de finish.

Chris Taylor: “So today was not my day! I have shown I have the pace to be at the front, but I unfortunately I didn’t have the luck again! I was sitting comfortable behind the leaders and I managed to get up to second position but I was forced to retire from the race due to a technical problem. There is more positives than negatives to take away this weekend and I’m still smiling! I would like to say a big thank you to everybody helping and supporting me also to my team for all the hard work they have put in! Onwards and upwards to Misano in 2weeks!”
